Henry Buckley in the parish of Denbigh on 20 March 1802 forged and uttered 8 notes purporting to be £1 Bank of England Notes (WALES 4/66/6).  he was ordered for execution on Monday 27 September.  Salopian Journal Wednesday 6 October reported "On Monday was executed at Ruthin Henry Buckley (29) for uttering a forgery at he Ruthin Spring Fair."
